Equipoise Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

At Equipoise, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in our business practices. We recognise that modern slavery, in all its forms, is a grave violation of human rights and an affront to human dignity. We are dedicated to ensuring that our operations and supply chains are free from any form of slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking.

Our Commitment

Equipoise is fully committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We strive to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains. This commitment is underpinned by our dedication to fostering transparency, sustainability, and ethical behaviour throughout our organisation.

Policies and Practices

To combat modern slavery, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Training and Awareness: We provide training to our employees to help them understand the risks of modern slavery and how to identify and prevent it in our operations and supply chains.

  • Whistleblowing Policy: We maintain a robust whistleblowing policy that allows employees and third parties to report any concerns related to modern slavery confidentially.

Risk Assessment and Management

We regularly review and assess the risks of modern slavery within our supply chains, particularly in high-risk sectors or regions. Where risks are identified, we work closely with our suppliers to mitigate and address them. Our approach includes engaging with suppliers to ensure they have appropriate measures in place to prevent modern slavery.

Performance Monitoring

Equipoise is committed to continuous improvement in our efforts to combat modern slavery. We regularly monitor the effectiveness of our policies and practices, including through audits, assessments, and feedback mechanisms. Any findings of non-compliance are addressed promptly and comprehensively.

Reporting and Accountability

We are transparent in our efforts to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Equipoise’s modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2024. We will continue to report on our progress annually.
