We would like to thank everyone who joined World Sustainable Procurement Day. Equipoise joined a fantastic event with thousands of attendees, with 24 sessions given by 95 Sustainable Procurement Leaders.

Equipoise was pleased to host a panel to discuss the challenges, opportunities and maturity of Sustainable Procurement in Africa, the Middle East and South Asia.

We drew from the experience of Thomas Udesen, Chief Procurement Officer at Bayer; John O’Reilly, Group Head of Procurement, Strategy, and Sustainability at BAT; Hani AlSaigh, Vice President of Supply Chain at Tahakom; and Sam Achampong, Regional Head of CIPS Middle East & North Africa.

They shared practical insights into what is important for the region, what key priorities are for CPOs and how procurement practitioners can implement sustainable procurement in their organisations.
