Partnering with Telos to promote the Buy Social Europe programme 🌍

Procuring from Social Enterprises with Equipoise and Telos

Let's talk about Socially Responsible Procurement! If the purpose of Net Zero is to limit more human suffering from climate change in the future then we should also consider how Sustainable Procurement can alleviate human suffering today.

Procurement is a tremendous opportunity to do this by buying from Social Enterprises. These are businesses that aim to achieve specific social or environmental objectives alongside earning revenue, often reinvesting profits back into their mission-driven goals.

There are an estimated 2.8 million of these businesses across Europe alone, supplying a wide range of goods and services and representing 8% of the EU’s GDP.

Hosting the Buy Social Europe Programme

Equipoise was pleased to host the Buy Social Europe Programme Workshop with Telos. During this event, we:

  • Discovered how the Buy Social Europe Programme can elevate impact on supplier diversity and social value.

  • Learnt from achievements and understood how the programme provides tangible benefits for procurement teams.

  • Shared step-by-step guidance on becoming a member and how to revolutionise your procurement strategy.

  • Engaged in meaningful discussions and provided hands-on knowledge to enhance business success.

  • Connect industry peers and experts, sharing personalised advice to those driving social change through procurement.

Equipoise partners with Telos

It is an honour to be part of a community dedicated to sustainable procurement excellence and contributing to a more socially responsible business landscape.

We are delighted to announce that Equipoise is partnering with Telos to promote its Buy Social Europe programme.

This programme aims to see €5 billion of procurement spending going to social economy businesses by 2030.
